Concord High’s ‘Be the Change’ Love Your Neighbor Rally

On Tuesday, October 31, 2012, students from Concord High’s ‘Be the Change’ student group organized a Love Your Neighbor rally in Concord. The rally was in response to the recent racist notes left on the front door of a family of Bhutanese refugees here in town. Another example of the power of coming together in a firm demonstration against hatred in our community, the rally was a wonderful show of love, respect, and support for our new Bhutanese neighbors.

Some photographs from the rally are below, courtesy of Concord photographer Becky Field (FieldWork Photos).
